  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups chopped apples
  • 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
  3. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until combined. Fold in chopped apples.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with powdered sugar on top.
