This quick bread recipe combines the delicious flavors of cheese, herbs, and garlic without the need for yeast, making it a simple and delightful baked treat.

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon dried herbs (thyme, oregano, or basil)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese, dried herbs, and minced garlic.
  4. In another bowl, combine the milk and olive oil.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
