  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
  6. Finally, stir in the eggnog and walnuts if using.
  7. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden.
  9. Let cool on wire racks.
