  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon, and salt together, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Spread the batter into a greased baking pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before icing.
  8. Mix icing sugar and milk until smooth and drizzle over the bars.
