  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fill the cupcake liners halfway with batter.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon to create a swirl mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the swirl mixture over the batter in each liner, then add the remaining batter on top.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. While cooling, whip together cream cheese and powdered sugar for frosting.
  10. Once cooled, frost the cupcakes and enjoy!
