- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 100 grams chicken ham
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add the orzo and stir to coat with oil.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer until orzo is cooked.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
- Chop the turkey bacon and chicken ham, then fold them into the orzo. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, omit the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
- This dish can be served as a side or main course.
