  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Add the cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in the pumpkin puree and heavy cream until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times.
  6. Shape the dough into a circle about 1 inch thick and cut into wedges.
  7. Place the scones on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
