  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until translucent.
  2. Stir in the rice and garlic powder, cooking for another 2 minutes.
  3. Add the chicken broth and black pepper, bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes until the rice is cooked.
