- 1 cup orzo
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy.
- Remove bacon and drain on paper towels, then chop.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
- Add orzo and toast for about 2 minutes.
- Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until orzo is tender.
