  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 pound chicken ham
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups kale, chopped
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add chicken ham and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Stir in potatoes, chicken broth, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  6. Add kale and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and cook until warmed through.
  8. Serve with crispy turkey bacon on top.

Notes

  • For a spicier soup, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers.
