Easy Strawberry Cream Cheese Danish

A delicious strawberry cream cheese danish that is easy to make and sure to please.

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Add some sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese.
  6. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
