- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners and fill them about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before glazing.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth, then drizzle over cupcakes.
