  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain the excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and flour until smooth. Add to the skillet and stir to combine.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and mix with the beef mixture.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
