Irresistible Chocolate Chip Cookie Crust Cheesecake

A rich and decadent cheesecake with a chocolate chip cookie crust that is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate chip cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the chocolate chip cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar and vanilla. Mix well.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition until fully incorporated.
  6. Stir in the sour cream until smooth.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  8. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • Can be topped with whipped cream for serving.
