Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar, stirring until combined.
  5. Serve over cooked rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Feel free to substitute the ground beef with ground turkey for a healthier option.
