  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Louisiana hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the russet potatoes into fries and soak in cold water for 30 minutes.
  2. Drain the fries, pat them dry, and toss with garlic powder and salt.
  3. Spread the fries on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  4. While fries are baking, cook turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Chop into pieces.
  5. Once fries are done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with cheddar cheese and turkey bacon. Return to the oven until cheese melts.
  6. Drizzle hot sauce over the fries and top with sour cream and green onions before serving.
