- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ziti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 2 cups of mozzarella, Parmesan, eggs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a large baking dish, layer half of the ziti, half of the ricotta mixture, and half of the sauce. Repeat the layers.
- Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
