Mississippi Mud Pie is a rich, chocolaty dessert that layers a creamy filling with a fudgy crust, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 ½ cups crushed chocolate cookies
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a pie dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, and vanilla until well blended, then pour over the crust.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, remove from oven, and let cool.
  5. Once cooled, whip the heavy cream to soft peaks and fold in mini marshmallows. Spread over the cooled pie.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a pinch of espresso powder to the filling.
  • Top with additional whipped cream and chocolate shavings for extra decoration.
