Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Mash the bananas in a bowl and mix in the sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Combine baking soda and salt in the mixture.
  4. Gradually fold in the flour until just incorporated.
  5. Add the chocolate chips and mix gently.
  6. Pour the batter into the muffin tins, filling each about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let them cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
