Seafood Boil for Christmas with Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 pounds mussels, cleaned
  • 2 pounds crab legs
  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • 4 ears of corn, cut into halves
  • 1/2 cup garlic butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
  2. Add potatoes and cook for about 15 minutes.
  3. Add corn and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp, mussels, and crab legs to the pot.
  5. Sprinkle Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper over seafood.
  6. Cook for 5-7 minutes until shells open and shrimp turn pink.
  7. Drain and place seafood and vegetables on a serving platter.
  8. Drizzle melted garlic butter and lemon juice over the top.
  9. Serve immediately with additional lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less Old Bay seasoning.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley for added flavor and presentation.
