  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil.
  3. Beat in the eggs until well blended.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and ginger.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the topping, then sprinkle it over the batter.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
