  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine applesauce, brown sugar, molasses, vegetable oil, and egg. Mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until combined.
  5. Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are firm.
  7. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
