  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Mix in molasses and peanut butter until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  9. Let cool on a wire rack.
