  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan, then sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture over it.
  6. Top with the remaining batter and then sprinkle the rest of the brown sugar mixture on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool, then drizzle with a mixture of powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.
