  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the flour.
  7. Fill the cupcake liners about 2/3 full with the batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let the cupcakes cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
